Mumbai. Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide on 14 June. Now his final postmortem report has arrived. Reportedly there was no foul play in Sushant's death. The final postmortem report has been prepared by a team of 5 doctors. The report said that Sushant died of suffocation after being hanged.
Police is waiting for viscera report
According to reports, Sushant Singh's viscera report is yet to come. The Mumbai Police has written to the Maharashtra Forensic Department that this investigation should be completed immediately. The family had demanded a CBI probe into the incident due to the possibility of killing Sushant before the postmortem report came.
23 people have recorded statements so far
Police have recorded statements of about 23 people, including family, friends, old manager, team members, house staff and girlfriend Riya Chakraborty in connection with Sushant's death. A contract copy has also been submitted by Yash Raj Films, which was signed by Sushant in 2012. His doctor's statement has not been taken yet. His CA statement was recorded on Wednesday.
The last conversation before Sushant's death is also revealed. Sushant had last conversation with manager Uday Singh Gauri in connection with the film. Police have also recorded the statement of their ex-publicist Rohini Iyer on Tuesday.
Police will also investigate media reports
According to DNA reports, various digital platforms which had made several claims about Sushant's death will be investigated. The Mumbai Police can also question the publication of reports related to Mahesh Bhatt and may also seek information on the sources and fact on which the report was written.
