Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has made another important announcement along with the new datesheet of examinations on Friday. The Commission said that the recruitment examination for the post of EO / AO in EPFO ​​has been postponed till further notice. The examination was scheduled to be held on October 4, but has now been postponed. The online application process for the exam started on 31 January.

421 vacant posts to be recruited

UPSC has to fill 421 vacant posts through various recruitment exams. Under this, recruitment will be done in Enforcement Officer / Accounts Officer, Employees Provident Fund Organization, Ministry of Labor and Employment etc. Of these 168 vacant posts are for unreserved category, 116 for OBC, 62 for SC, 42 for EWS and 33 for ST.

New calendar of examinations released

Earlier, on Friday, the Commission has announced the new date for the Civil Service Preliminary Examination. According to the released datasheet, the UPSC Civil Service Preliminary Examination will be held on October 4, 2020. While the Mains exam will be held on 8 January. The UPSC had issued a notice in the past, informing that “after taking stock of the conditions, a new datesheet for the exam will be released on June 5.”
