The results of the National Talent Search Examination (Preliminary) 2020 (NTSE Stage-1) and National Income-cum-Merit Scholarship Examination (NMMSS) in the state were released. The result has been released by Bihar State Education Research and Training Council (SCERT) on the official website. The result of the examination has been released state-wise. The state from which the examiner has taken the exam can check on the website of the concerned state. A total of 736 students have passed the examination of NTSE Stage-1. Students who have passed NTSE Stage First will now join NTSE Stage-2 to be taken by NCERT.

NTSE Stage 2 Postponed

The candidates who passed the first stage examination of NTSE will now appear in the second stage examination. After this, scholarships worth Rs 12 thousand will be given every year to students who succeed in the second stage or main examination. After passing the ninth in NTSE, any student can join. This year the examination was to be held on 10 May. However, this has been postponed because of Corona and Loudown. At the same time, SCERT director Girivar Dayal Singh said that due to the lockdown, the result of examination was delayed.

Near 4300 students in NMMSS

At the same time, a total of 4300 students across the state have been declared successful in the National Income-cum-Merit Scholarship Examination (NMMSS). The NMMSS examination consists of only one stage. Students who succeed in this examination are given scholarship of Rs. 12000 annually for their studies from class 9th to 12th. Only children of VIII can appear in this examination.
