Fact check investigation

  • We received one such order on March 27, 2020, by reverse image search on Google, which was going viral. In this, it has been said to conduct NEET exam in July instead of May. A crosscheck from the NTA (National Testing Agency) website revealed that the order was genuine. The order currently going viral is also exactly the same, dates are different in it. Probably editing this same order dated 27th March 2020 is going viral to confuse the students.

  • On checking the NTA website, we came to know that the order already going viral has been denied. The NTA has also issued a public notice in this regard.
  • PIB Fact Check has also rumored to be the postpone of the NEET exam to be held in July.

Conclusion: At present, no order has been issued by the NTA or MHRD for conducting the NEET postpone. The claim being made on social media is fake.
