North Central Railway has released 196 vacancies for the post of Trade Apprentice. Candidates of class 10th and ITI pass can apply for this.

Railway Recruitment 2020: Railway Recruitment Board, North Central Railway has sought online application from Class 10th and ITI pass candidates for the recruitment of Trade Apprentice posts. Candidates who want to be admitted to these posts, apply online through their official website. The North Central Railway has 196 vacancies for trade apprentices. This vacancy has been released by North Central Railway (NCR), Wagon Repair Workshop, Jhansi for recruitment to the post of Stenographer (Hindi), Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Machinist, Painter and Mechanic Machine and Tool Maintenance.

There will be no written examination nor interview for recruitment to the posts of Trade Apprentice in North Central Railway. Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in high school and ITI. A merit list will be made by adding the marks found in the 10th class of the candidate and the marks found in the ITI. Candidates will be selected on the basis of this merit list.

The total Vacancy – 196 Post

  1. Fitter – 90 posts
  2. Welder (Gas & Electric) – 50 posts
  3. Machinist – 12 posts
  4. Painter – 16 posts
  5. Electrician – 12 posts
  6. Mechanic Machine and Equipment Maintenance – 15 posts
  7. Stenographer (Hindi) – 3 posts.

Educational Eligibility: The candidate should pass the 10th standard or its equivalent examination with at least 50 per cent marks. Along with this, ITI pass certificate should also be in the trade related to an industrial training institute recognized by NCVT / SCVT.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be at least 15 years and maximum 24 years. The upper age limit will be relaxed for the candidates of Reserve category. Three years relaxation will be given for OBC category, five years for SC / ST class and ten years for differently-abled people.

Application fee: The application fee has been fixed at Rs 100 and the portal fee is Rs 70. Candidates can deposit all types of fees through credit card / debit card, SBI UPI or net banking.
