The company said that these appointments are being made to meet the increasing demand of consumers. In the next six months, these appointments will be made in Hyderabad, Pune, Coimbatore, Noida, Kolkata, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Mangaluru, Indore, Bhopal and Lucknow.
Most posts are part of Amazon's 'virtual customer service' program
The company said in a statement that most of the positions are part of Amazon's 'virtual customer service' program. Under this, facility to work from home is given. The minimum educational qualification for them will be passed 12th standard and proficiency in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu or Kannada will be required. These people will provide services to consumers through e-mail, chat, social media and phone.
