AIIMS OPD services will start from this date, only such patients will be able to show in a day

new Delhi: Nearly three months after the closure of OPD services, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences i.e. AIIMS in New Delhi has decided to resume OPD services for patients from 25 June.

However, only 15 patients will be seen in a day. Outpatient Department (OPD) services will be available for older and follow up patients. But OPD appointment will also be given for a limited number of new patients.

For the first time in history, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) discontinued its OPD services.

However, in the first phase of reopening OPD, no appointment will be made for the evening's special clinics.

It has been said in the circular that it would be the prerogative of the departments to call patients directly or to screen them through tele-counseling.
