Turmeric Pickle Ingredients
1 cup raw fresh turmeric roots
3 tablespoons mustard oil
1 teaspoon black mustard
A pinch of asafoetida
1 teaspoon pickle spice powder
2 pinch salt
4 teaspoons lemon juice

How to make turmeric pickle
Turmeric root and pickle spice powder can usually be found at any grocery store.
After that wash and dry the turmeric roots thoroughly.
Then peel it and cut it into long pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and cook it. Cool it and pour it over the chopped turmeric.
Now add pickle masala powder, lemon juice and salt and stir well.
After that keep the glass in an air tight pot and store it in the refrigerator.

Keep away from water
This pickle of turmeric remains fresh for 1 month. Just a single drop of water should not go into it. Water will spoil the pickle. Remember to eat small amounts of pickle with food.
