The police kitchen was started by IPS Saroj Kumari. Since then, we are having needy meals every day. It was Saroj who planned it and arranged for food. Saroj hails from Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan. He told, 'We raised rations and other things to make food. Prepared food for about 550 people on the first day. She herself helps in this work. Only the police team distributes the food.

50 women policemen cook food everyday after duty
Every day around 50 women policemen work with SP to make things. Randhir Singh, brother of IPS Sarej Kumari and deputy head of Chidawa village in Jhunjhunu, said that his sister's initiative is being appreciated all over Gujarat. After the duty time, every woman policeman takes three hours from the police for the police haul, an example is all over the country. He has also been awarded the Woman Icon Award due to service.
