Mumbai. Within the last 24 hours, 3,254 new coronavirus patients were found in Maharashtra. Total cases increased to 94,041. 149 more patients have died from the infection. With this, the death toll from Kovid-19 in the state rose to 3,438. At the same time, 1,879 patients were discharged from hospitals on recovery. The number of patients recovering from the infection increased to 44,517. The number of active patients in the state is 46,074. So far 5,93,784 samples have been investigated.
Mumbai: 300 additional ICU beds to be available in 10 days
BMC Commissioner IS Chahal said that in the next 10 days, Mumbai will get 300 additional ICU beds. There are 1,000 ICU beds on the dashboard in Mumbai. There will be an increase of 300 beds in these. Coronavirus-infected patients are undergoing treatment in 7,600 beds in Mumbai. Even now 10,400 beds are said to exist on the portal. Chahal said that an attempt is being made to increase the number of beds due to the increasing number of corona patients.
Mumbai: Death rate around 3 percent from Corona
BMC Commissioner said that the dabbling rate of Corona positive in Mumbai has come down, which is a relief. With this, the death rate is also close to the national average of 3 percent. Within the last 20 days, no patient has died in Mumbai due to lack of dialysis.
Mumbai: Death information will be online in 48 hours
Commissioner Chahal has ordered that information of the deceased person from Corona be uploaded on the ICMR website within 48 hours. Earlier, the commissioner ordered all laboratories to upload the test report and number of corona patients in Mumbai to the ICMR website within 24 hours. A laboratory that did not follow this rule was banned.
CM Uddhav said – If the rules are broken then the lockdown can increase
On Wednesday night, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray appealed to the people to follow the restrictions. He said – If people fail to respect the restrictions then the lockdown may have to be implemented in the state once again. He made this warning after the news that he had come to know that the social distancing is being blown to board the buses. The CM also said that we have demanded from the Center to resume local trains. Many people are unable to resume duty due to the shutdown. Thackeray told the media after the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee – If this continues, the lockdown will continue. But I am sure that people will listen to the government's rules and guidelines, because they are for their own good.
Lockdown shouldn't have happened on just 4 hours notice: Aditya

He further said that political battles are being seen in social media and media, but we have not fallen into this affair and have continued the fight against Corona.
Over 42 lakh people in 798 Containment Zone in Mumbai
There are 798 containment zones due to corona in Mumbai, out of which 42 lakh, 18 thousand, 818 people live. According to BMC, there are 18,957 corona-positive cases in these containment zones. Dahisar has the highest number of 116, followed by Kurla, 115 in Sakinaka and 74 containment zones in Bhandup. The least 9 containment zones are in Malabar Hill, Mahalaxmi Area. At the same time, Malad has 147,052 households. As per the new BMC rule, Containment zones are declared in the Chawl and Slum areas only. According to the same rule, after getting a cavid patient in the building, there will not be declared a container zone, but that building will be sealed.
Amitabh arranged 4 planes for migrant laborers
Actor Amitabh Bachchan on Wednesday arranged four special flights to help migrant laborers stranded in Mumbai, sending around 700 people to his home state of Uttar Pradesh. Sources said that on the instructions of Bachchan, his close aide Rajesh Yadav arranged the flights. Yadav is the managing director of AB Corp Ltd, Bachchan's home production company. He arranged flights to transport migrant laborers from Mumbai to Allahabad, Gorakhpur and Varanasi on Wednesday morning.
