With the help of Amitabh Bachchan, 720 workers from Uttar Pradesh stranded in Mumbai reached Varanasi, Prayagraj and Gorakhpur on 4 planes yesterday. 354 people arrived in Varanasi from 2 planes. All of them were trapped in Mumbai due to the lockdown and were facing the parishioners. The comfort of reaching their city was clearly visible on their faces. Big B would not have come back if he did not help
Kamlesh Verma, a resident of Bhadohi, is an electrician. They work in Mumbai. His work came to a standstill in the lockdown. The wife, four children and an elderly mother were together. Kamlesh says that in the lockdown, the family was filling up. He said that I did not know, so arranged the return of the aircraft by paying 9 thousand rupees to the agent. Later it was revealed that Amitabh ji has not taken any money. Still nothing. If Amitabh ji does not help, he would never come home.

Sitting on the plane for the first time, it will last a lifetime
Vinod Tiwari of Jaunpur lived in Mumbai for about 12 years and used to drive a taxi. Vinod says that he came to life when he reached the airport here. The condition of Maharashtra is very bad. Business has been destroyed. I did not even have a train fare. There was a fear that if something happens, they will not be able to reach themselves. But Big B helped us. Asha, a resident of Gorakhpur, used to work in shopping malls in Maharashtra, but Asha got unemployed when the malls closed due to lockdown. She used to take care of parents, siblings with her income. Asha says there was no ticket money. People of Amitabh Bachchan ji approached and reached me here for free. Despite having money, thousands of people are not able to come back home. I consider myself lucky. If I get employment here, I will never go there.

Asha told that she used to work in Maharashtra and send savings at home. The expenses of the house used to run from that.

Santosh Jaiswal, a resident of Gyanpur in Bhadohi district, was taking care of the family by driving an auto in Mumbai, but his employment was lost in the lockdown. He has become a debtor in arranging food for his wife and two children. Santosh says that he had to come out under compulsion, fearing that my children might get sick because of me.
