Lucknow. Ghetala has come out in the recruitment of 69 thousand teachers in Uttar Pradesh. Dharmendra Patel, the topper of assistant teacher recruitment examination, could not even tell that the President of the country is a cane? Dharmendra plays the DJ in wedding ceremonies. Now the police is under arrest. Following the court order, STF is investigating the recruitment process.
Topper could not even answer easy questions
Prayagraj police arrested Dharmendra and 9 others on Sunday on charges of taking bribe in the name of providing jobs. Three of them are candidates to pass the recruitment exam.
An official said that during interrogation, Dharmendra could not even answer the questions of General Knowledge. SSP Satyarth Anirudh Pankaj says that the main accused in the recruitment scam is KL Patel, who has also been a member of the District Panchayat earlier.
Basic Education Minister Satishchandra Dwivedi had said on Tuesday that the recruitment process was stalled following the High Court order. The police's Special Task Force (STF) is investigating the case.
The controversy started even before the result came.
The recruitment process started in December 2018, but the matter went to court due to controversies. The day after the exam, the government reduced the minimum cut-off to 65% for general category and 60% for reserve category. Earlier, when 68,500 posts were recruited, the cut off was 45% for General and 40% for Reserve.
In such a situation, the decision to change the cut off was challenged in the court by the candidates. Hence the result took a long time. The result was released on the 13th of last month itself.
