Handwara The Jammu and Kashmir Police has arrested three Lashkar-e-Taiba militants. This action has exposed the narco-terror module supported by Pakistan. SP GV Sandeep of Handwara district said that 21 kg of heroin worth Rs 100 crore and cash of Rs 1.34 crore were received from the arrested people.
The names of those arrested are Abdul Momin Pir, Islam ul Haq Pir and Saeed Iftikar Indrabi. These people were in contact with the racket conducting terror activities from Pakistan and doing drug business. Lashkar terrorists were being financed through this module. This disclosure also revealed the connection between drug dealers and terrorists.
Police said – big hawala racket is also going on with drugs
Police say that for the past two weeks, input was being received about this racket. It is also a big hawala racket involving terrorists. Information is being collected about terrorist organizations, smugglers and other anti-national people associated with this racket by making a special team.
Lashkar operatives arrested in Punjab too
Punjab Police on Thursday arrested two operatives of Lashkar-e-Taiba, who are going to smuggle arms in Kashmir. An AK-47 rifle and 10 grenades have been recovered from them. His names are Aamir Hussain Wani and Wasim Hasan Wani.
