Mumbai. As of Friday morning, 3,607 new cases of corona have been reported in the state. By adding this, the total number of patients has increased to 97,648. As many as 152 cases of deaths have been reported in 24 hours in the state including Mumbai due to the disease. So far, 3,590 people have died in the state due to corona. Maximum 97 in Mumbai, 9 in Mira Bhayander, 8-8 in Pune and Solapur, 7 in Kalyan Dombivali, 6 in Aurangabad, 5-5 in Nashik and Navi Mumbai, 2-2 in Vasai Virar and Latur and Ratnagiri, Hingoli, Jalna and Nanded have 1-1 deaths.
Of the 152 patients who died, 102 were male and 50 were female. Among them were 85 patients over 60 years of age. After treatment, 1,561 people were sent home. So far, 46,078 people have been coronated in the state.
Uddhav Thackeray rejects rumors of no lockdown in Maharashtra again
State Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has made it clear that the State Government has not issued any such order. He appealed to the people to avoid rumors and follow government guidelines. Chief Minister Thackeray clearly said that the state government has not issued any order to impose lockdown again from June 15. However, precautionary people should avoid crowds and follow the government guidelines. Not only Mumbai but earlier there was talk of lockdown being implemented in the national capital Delhi from 15 June.
Minister Dhananjay Munde Corona infected, attended NCP's anniversary celebrations on June 10
Senior NCP leader and Cabinet Minister Dhananjay Munde in the Uddhav Thackeray government in Maharashtra has been found to be Corona positive. Thackeray has become the third minister to be infected in the government. He is currently undergoing treatment. Earlier ministers Jitendra Awhad and Ashok Chavan have been infected. However, both have recovered. Apart from Munde, his driver and cook in Mumbai is also infected with Corona. After reaching Mumbai, all these people were corona examined. 194 people died in Mumbai in two days
In Mumbai, 194 patients have died in the last two days. After the death of 97 patients on Wednesday, 97 patients died on Thursday also. So far 1,952 people have died in Mumbai due to corona. During the last 24 hours, 1,540 new cases have been reported here. With this the number of corona infected has reached 53,985.
Heavy rain predicted in Mumbai on 13 and 14 June amidst monsoon knock
The southwest monsoon has knocked over some areas of Maharashtra on Thursday. After which heavy rain was seen in Konkan on Friday. According to weather experts, the current conditions are quite favorable for the monsoon. Heavy rains may occur in many parts of the state in the next 48 hours. Experts have also expressed apprehension that the risk of corona infection in the state will increase after the arrival of rain. Deputy Director General of Meteorological Department Western India K.S. Hoslikar said, “With the arrival of monsoon in the state, the conditions are quite favorable. It is expected that soon it will reach other parts of the state and will see good rains. On 13 and 14 June, heavy rain warnings have been issued in Mumbai and Thane. However, at present, this warning has been issued in yellow and orange colors.
School fees will not increase this year
The state school education department has instructed all the schools not to collect fees for the facilities of the schools which are not being used due to online teaching in lockdown. The department has said that the Executive Parent Teacher Association (IPTA) should pass a proposal in this regard. A government mandate states that no fees should be increased for the academic year 2020-2021. The mandate states that this order will be applicable to all boards and all medium to pre-primary classes to class XII students.
Corona infection among five accused of robbery, 17 policemen quarantined
Five accused arrested for robbery in Kurla, a suburb of Mumbai, were found infected with coronavirus. After this, 17 police personnel of Nehru Nagar police station, including three officers involved in arresting them, have been sent to the Quarantine Center. Seven people were arrested last week on charges of robbery at an electronic goods shop, of which 5 have been confirmed to have corona infection. The five accused have been sent to the Government Quarantine Center in Chembur and Sion.
Cases doubling in Dharavi in 44 days
In Mumbai's slum Dharavi, 20 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported, bringing the total number of infected people to 1,984 on Thursday. This information was given by a BMC official. An official of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that the number of deaths due to corona virus increased from 73 to 75 after receiving information about the deaths of two people shortly before Kovid-19 in the slum. He said that 914 patients are currently being treated in Dharavi while 995 patients have recovered from the infection. According to BMC, cases are doubling here in 44 days.

Mumbai Police will patrol from Segway
