Sitamarhi. There was a violent clash between villagers and Nepal Armed Forces personnel at 9:30 am on Friday near Lalbandi Border in Janaki Nagar in Sitamarhi district in Bihar. One Indian was killed while two were injured in Nepalese police firing. Nepal Police was taken here from Lagan Rai. Nepal Police released Lagan on Saturday after talks between officials of India and Nepal.

Coming to India, Lagan told about the incident on Friday. Lagan said that the Nepal police took me to Sangrampur. I was hit by the butt of the rifle. I was pressured to confess that the police caught me in Nepal. Whereas the truth is that the police picked me up from India.

Lagan said that my son is married to a girl from Nepal. His wife went to meet his mother at the border. My son also went with him. Nepal Police stopped at the border. Nepal police beat my son with sticks. When I received the information, I reached there. When asked the reason of beating the Nepal Police, I was also mistreated. The Nepal Police officer present on the border called 10 soldiers on the spot. These soldiers fired from across the border, in which another person was killed.

There was a firing on the border at Janaki Nagar in Sonbarsa on Friday from Nepal. A young man was killed in it. Three were injured. The condition of two people is stated to be critical. Janakinagar falls in Sitamarhi district of Bihar. Sushri Seema Bal (SSB) DG Kumar Rajesh Chandra said – this is a matter of mutual dispute. The report has been sent to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs.
