Ladakh Army Chief General MM Narwane is on a two-day visit to Ladakh amidst India-China tensions. General Narwane today handed over the Commendation Cards (Commendation Cards) to the soldiers who fought bravely in the clash with China and encouraged them. The Army Chief also met the troops stationed at the border in East Ladakh and reviewed the latest situation. He was accompanied by Lt Gen YK Joshi, Commanding in Chief of the Northern Command and Kamadding Lt Gen Harinder Singh of the Fire and Fury Corps. The Chief of Army Staff was informed about the current situation and preparedness in East Ladakh by the General Officer Commanding of Trishul Division.

Army Chief knows the condition of injured soldiers
General Narwane had known the condition of the soldiers admitted to the Army Hospital in Leh on Tuesday. 18 jawans seriously injured in the June 15 clash with China are undergoing treatment. The army chief has reached Ladakh for the first time after a violent clash between India and China in Galvan. Prior to Narwane, Air Chief Marshal Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria visited Ladakh on Sunday.
