The entire operation was conducted under the supervision of National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. It is considered to be India's big diplomatic victory. The aircraft carrying the intruders will first halt at Imphal, followed by Guwahati. This is the first time that infiltrators will be handed over to India from Myanmar.
According to an officer, the intruders will be handed over to the Manipur and Assam Police. All these are associated with the NDFB (S), NNLF, PREPAK (PRO), KYKL, PLA and KLO groups.
