Auraiya. A truck hit another truck on the highway in Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh at 3:30 am on Saturday. 24 laborers died in it. Kanpur range IG Mohit Aggarwal has told that 35 people have been injured. Of these, 20 have been admitted to the district hospital, while 15 seriously injured have been admitted to Saifai Medical College.
Five laborers were killed in a road accident near Banda in Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh. ASP Praveen Bhuria told that the truck in which the laborers were riding. He turned. These people were going from Maharashtra to Uttar Pradesh. With these two accidents, 61 workers died in different accidents in the country in the last eight days. Earlier, 16 people were killed in Aurangabad, 8 in Guna in Madhya Pradesh, 6 in Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh, 2 in Samastipur in Bihar.

People who got off the tea drinking truck survived their lives
The accident took place near a dhaba in Chiruhali area near Auraiya. Police said that the workers were riding in both trucks. The truck coming from Delhi stopped near the dhaba. Some people were drinking tea. Then the truck coming from Rajasthan hit it. It was filled with lime and had 30 laborers. People who got down from the tea drinking truck survived their lives. Eyewitnesses said that the accident occurred due to the nap of a truck driver coming from Rajasthan. Both trucks overturned after the collision. Workers got buried in lime sacks.
Jharkhand is the highest among those killed
The administration has identified the dead and released the list. So far 15 dead have been identified. Most of them are from Jharkhand. Their number is seven. At the same time, there are 4 people living from West Bengal. Apart from this, two dead each from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. Police say efforts are on to identify other unknown people.
The truck laden with lime had left Rajasthan for West Bengal. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the accident. Has expressed deep condolences to the families of the workers who lost their lives. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi and SP leader Akhilesh Yadav also expressed grief over the incident.
Four major accidents, 32 workers died in 8 days before this
On Wednesday night, 8 workers died in a bus and container collision in Guna, Madhya Pradesh. 54 were injured. All the people were going to Unnao in Uttar Pradesh. Roadways bus crushed 6 laborers in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh late on Wednesday night. At the same time, the bus of the migrants collided with the truck in Bihar, in which two people lost their lives.
- Earlier on May 8, 16 migrant laborers were hit by a goods train on the railway track near Aurangabad in Maharashtra. All the workers were going to Madhya Pradesh. The accident occurred near Karamad station in Aurangabad. The incident happened while the workers were sleeping on the railway track. The deceased were residents of Shahdol and Umaria in Madhya Pradesh.
