A total of 2033 people have been found corona infected in Punjab so far. 39 including 2 outsiders have died, while 1500 have been cured. On the other hand, Sunday is the 14th and last day of the nationwide lockdown of the third phase to deal with these situations. New guidelines will be implemented in the country from Monday, whereas in Punjab, instead of curfew, now there will be a lockdown situation. First train left for Muzaffarpur with 1200 workers
The first train from Jalandhar City railway station carrying 1200 people has left for Muzaffarpur at 10 am Sunday. Apart from this, 4800 more workers are to be sent in 4 more trains from the area today. Trains will also leave for Barkakana at 2 pm, Sultanpur at 5 pm, Faizabad at 7:30 pm and Jaunpur at 11 pm. The administration has also started speeding up arrangements regarding running of labor trains, but there is still a lot of scope for improving the system. The Jalandhar administration does not have complete control over the situation even after continuously running special labor trains.

Soon buses will be arranged for people belonging to Mathura, Saharanpur, Meerut, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Buland city, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat and Hapur to reach their homes by buses. Similar messages will also be sent to the people belonging to these districts.
Apart from common people, farmers also demonstrated in Pathankot for the demands.
Amid curfew in Pathankot's Sujanpur, the common man is worried about his problems. On the one hand, the card holders were upset when they did not get ration, on the other hand the farmers came out on the road with the demands. All India Hindu Suraksha Samiti state chairman Surinder Manhas, Bina Devi Mohalla Fort Sujanpur, Rashmi Galli Ghumayara, Paramjit Kor Mohalla Shahpuri Gate, Suman Devi, Geeta Devi, Narendra Kumar, Kata Devi told that from their depot holders last 6 months The wheat that came was not given to them.
