Commenting on the government’s commitment to freedom of expression, the minister said, ‘This government is led by leaders who have fought for freedom of individuals, freedom of media, freedom of judiciary. We are fully committed to the freedom of media, but playing with the sovereignty of the country will not be tolerated. On fake news on social media platforms, the minister said that the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has a cell to expose fake news.
