Kolkata: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) gave the slogan of ‘Bengal should want its daughter’, calling the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee (Bengal’s daughter) from the assembly elections and debating the issue of ‘local versus outsider’ and Extended. With this slogan, hoardings bearing the photo of Banerjee have been installed all over Kolkata (Kolkata), which has ‘Bangla Nijer Meykei Chai (Bengal needs its daughter)’ written in Bengali. The ruling party officially launched it from its headquarters near the EM bypass.

In this regard, Trinamool Congress general secretary Partha Chatterjee said on Saturday, ‘People of the state want their daughter who has been with them as the chief minister for the last several years. We do not want to bring any outsiders in Bengal. The Trinamool Congress has a strong political rivalry with the BJP. She calls party (BJP) leaders as outsiders who have come to the state for ‘Election Tourism’.

TMC Rajya Sabha member Suvrat Bakshi said, ‘The upcoming election (West Bengal Election 2021) is not a big deal for the Trinamool Congress. The whole country is watching how the Constitution can be protected and the results of the election will prove it. He said that the Chief Minister has already handed over the report card of the work done in the last 10 years to the people of the state. Quoting development works, TMC MP Bakshi said, ‘Which state has done so much for its people? no one.’

Mamta knows the pulse of Bengal!

At the same time, the state Panchayat Minister Suvrat Mukherjee said that while other parties are struggling to find the face of the Chief Minister, there is Mamata Banerjee in Trinamool who knows the pulse of the people of Bengal. Mukherjee said that she knows how to protect women. He also said that Banerjee has a close relationship with rural Bengal and he built 34 lakh houses in villages, while electricity has been provided to 96 lakh houses.

Mukherjee said that a total of 1.18 lakh km of rural roads have been constructed in the last ten years.
