New Delhi: The second phase of Corona Vaccination has started. On Monday (1 March), Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) started this by getting the vaccine installed. Meanwhile, National Health Authority (NHA) CEO RS Sharma said in a special conversation with Zee News that the second phase of vaccination has started and no flaws have been revealed in the app. It is worth noting that the CoWIN portal and Aarogya Setu App has been built under the supervision of NHA.
CoWIN app will not launch
The CEO of NHA said that no separate CoWIN app will be launched for self-registration. All those who are 45 years of age and above and suffer from CO-Morbidities and above 60 years can register on CoWIN extension through Cowin.gov.in or Arogya Setu App. He said that people above the age of 45 years who have CO-Morbities i.e. people suffering from hypertension, diabetes, heart disease or any other serious disease can take a certificate from any medical practitioner and upload it on the app.
This time people will get these facilities
RS Sharma said that people do not have to set aside time to get vaccinated, so people have been given choice of center and choice of time. In such a situation, people can get the vaccine according to their convenience. However, the government has not given the facility of Choice of Vaccination to anyone. That is, Kovishield is to be attached or COVAXIN is not a choice for anyone. If for some reason the schedule is unable to reach the center on the day of vaccination, then the schedule of vaccination can be changed 24 hours in advance.
Walk-in vaccination also
He informed that walk-in vaccination facility has also been provided in this phase. That is, any person can get their registration done by reaching the vaccination center. If he wants, he can also get the vaccine provided on the same day, provided the vaccine should be available at the center at that time.
Vaccine will be set up in these private hospitals
RS Sharma made it clear that only those private hospitals will be vaccinated under Ayushman Yojana or CGHS. There are some states like Delhi, Odisha, West Bengal, Telangana where Ayushman scheme is not applicable. Assistance will be provided in such states under the insurance scheme of the state government.
