Ahmedabad. The body of a coronavirus infected person has been found near the bus stop of Danlimada area of the city. The deceased was admitted to a government hospital here. Family members of the deceased have blamed hospital staff and police for the incident.
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has ordered an inquiry to former Principal Secretary (Health) JP Gupta and asked to submit a report within 24 hours. The deceased's name was Chhagan Makwana. On May 13, Makwana, 67, was admitted to the district hospital and was tested positive on May 13. The administration then quarantined his family.
Brother told- Information given after postmortem
Makwana's brother Govind said that the security staff found his body in an abandoned condition at the BRTS bus stop. Police was informed about this. The police then took the body to another hospital for postmortem. He told that information to the family Post mortem was given. A paper was found in the deceased's pocket, in which his son's number was written. The family was then approached.
The hospital said- we found them fit for home isolation
Kovid Civil Hospital officer MM Prabhakar said that he was completely fit. We found them fit for home isolation. He was also informed about this. We do not know how he died. He left for home on a city bus.
