Mumbai. A fighter pilot of the Navy wrote a letter in a unique style asking the Commanding Officer to leave for his wedding. This letter of the pilot is going viral on social media. In a letter written to a senior officer, the pilot compared the marriage to the fall of a nuclear bomb.
The pilot has been identified as Lt. Commander Nishant Singh. They fly MiG fighter jets and are currently stationed at INS Hansa.
CO praised the pilot's flying skill
The Commanding Officer (CO), while approving the pilgrimage's leave request, also gave a funny reply. He wrote praising the pilot's flying skill – all great things finally come to an end. Welcome to hell
The pilot wrote in his letter-“I am sorry to have dropped this bomb on you in such a short time.” But, you will agree with me that I am dropping an atom on myself. I feel that we all make quick decisions in the air of heat of the moment, which is correct. I don't want to give myself any more time so that I can test my decision again. I have come to the conclusion that we are able to spend the rest of our lives together without actually knowing each other. I want your permission officially, so that I can sacrifice myself even in this time of peace and follow you and other brave soldiers who have gone to this graveyard spiral of marriage . ''
The pilot sent the letter to his commanding officer earlier this month and invited him to attend his wedding. Due to the lockdown, the commanding officer and the parents of the fighter pilot were joined through the virtual interactive platform 'Zoom App'.
