Between May 10 and 19, 1,223 people lost their lives. Earlier, between 10 May and 10 May, 1,013 people died in ten days. The death toll across the country has risen to 3,317.

14 people died today
Wednesday i.e. 14 people died today. Maximum 8 deaths were reported in Delhi, 2 in Madhya Pradesh, 1 in Punjab, 1 in Andhra Pradesh, 1 in Himachal Pradesh and 1 in Odisha. 147 people died on Tuesday. A record 76 people died in Maharashtra, the highest among them. This is the highest among deaths in a day. The death toll in Gujarat also crossed 700. There have been 719 deaths so far. 25 infected people died here on Tuesday.
