In such a situation, thousands of qualified candidates for the recruitment of teachers in Madhya Pradesh schools are upset. These candidates are demanding action in Madhya Pradesh like the Uttar Pradesh government, as instructions have been issued to start the recruitment process for 69,000 posts of assistant teachers in council primary schools run by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Council. A deadline has been fixed till June 6 to issue appointment letters to selected teachers in UG. But to resume the stuck recruitment process of teachers in MP, the Directorate of Public Teaching is waiting for the status of Kovid-19 to return to normal. Qualified candidate for teacher recruitment Anand Mishra says that they are constantly demanding that social distancing be followed and verified and the final selection list should be released soon.
Results in UP on May 12 and schedule released on May 13
Anand told that a test for assistant teachers was conducted on 6 January 2019 in UP. The cutoff was changed by the state government. Therefore, it went to the Lucknow High Court. The result has been issued on May 12, a week after the final decision in this case. The state government has issued a schedule for counseling, document verification and joining on May 13. Under this, selected teachers will join from 3 to 6 June. Its number is about 69 thousand. This number of teachers is more than two times due to recruitment of Higher Secondary Teacher and Secondary Teaching in MP.
Process is stuck here in Madhya Pradesh
In September 2018, PEB released an advertisement for conducting the eligibility test for the recruitment of Higher Secondary Teacher and Secondary Teacher in government schools of School Education Department. The result of Higher Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test, except one subject, came on 28 August 2019 and the result of Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test on 29 September 2019. Provisional selection and waiting list has been issued till the lockdown starts under online counseling organized by Directorate of Public Instruction. Only the verification and school allotment process remains. On the other hand, in the Tribal Welfare Department, 2220 posts of Higher Secondary Teacher are to be admitted. However, only the process of EOWS has taken place here. At the same time, the schedule of counseling of secondary teacher recruitment has not been released.
