Bhopal. The Congress has announced the new presidents of 11 districts on Wednesday, making a gathering according to the by-elections of 24 assembly. 5 districts are in Gwalior-Chambal region. Ashok Singh, chairman of Apex Bank has been made the chairman of Gwalior Rural. Kamal Silakari has been appointed Vidisha and Dr. Balbir Tomar as Sehore District President. At present, Sagar Gramin has been put under hold, under which the by-election of Surkhi is to be held. The Congress has released a list of new district heads indicating that its focus is on the 16 seats in Gwalior-Chambal region where Jyotiraditya Scindia is in direct competition. Sheopur, Gwalior Rural, Shivpuri, Guna City and Rural, Vidisha and Sagar Rural District President Scindia had joined BJP, since then the posts of President were vacant here.
