The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has also today issued a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for passengers. All the passengers except children up to 14 years will be required to download the Arogya Setu app. It will be necessary to arrive at least 2 hours before the flight time. What will be the arrangements for vehicles to reach the airport?
According to the Airport Authority of India, the state governments and administration have been asked to provide public transport and private taxis. So that passengers and airport staff can get connectivity. You can also go with personal vehicle.
How many people will be able to sit in one vehicle?
AAI has not stated this clearly, only said that people will be allowed to sit in fixed numbers. These rules will be applicable to airport staff and passengers.
How long before the flight time to reach the airport?
It will be necessary to arrive at least two hours worn. Only those passengers whose flight will be in the next four hours will get entry at the airport terminal.
What is required for protection?
All passengers will be required to wear masks and gloves.
If there is no green signal in the Arogya Setu app?
Everyone except children up to 14 years will have to download the Arogya Setu app. It will be checked at the entry gate. Those whose app will not have a green signal will not get an entry.
Where will thermal screening take place?
Before entering the airport terminal building one must pass through the screening zone at a designated place. Thermal screening stations are being prepared for this.
Will there be food and drink at the airport?
Food outlets will open with infection prevention measures. Passengers will be asked to pick up the parcel to avoid congestion. The emphasis will be on digital payment. Self-order booths will be built.
