new Delhi. The death toll due to corona infection in the country has increased to 4334. By 9 o'clock on Tuesday night, 160 people had died. A record 97 patients died in the last 24 hours in Maharashtra alone. This is the largest number of dead in a day. On May 19, 76 infected people died.
Here the figure of the dead reached 1792. On the other hand, 25 patients have also died in Gujarat.
In Maharashtra, 63 men and 34 women were among those who lost their lives on Tuesday. Of the people who died here on Tuesday, 67 percent were patients with diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease. The dead are 39 from Mumbai, 15 from Thane, 10 from Kalyan, 8 from Pune, 7 from Solapur, 5 from Aurangabad, 5 from Mira Bhayander, 3 from Malegaon, 3 from Ulhasnagar, 1 from Nagpur and 1 from Ratnagiri.

Apart from this, 12 patients died in Delhi, 9 in Tamil Nadu, 5 each in Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, 1-1 patients in Bihar, Telangana and Jammu and Kashmir. 150 died on Monday, while 156 were lost on Sunday.
