Raipur. The health of Chhattisgarh's first Chief Minister Ajit Jogi has deteriorated again. He suffered a heart attack at around 1 pm on Wednesday night. Since then, his condition became more serious. Doctors say that his heart and pulse rate are not stable. Jogi has been in a coma since 9 May. He was admitted to Narayana Hospital here after suffering a heart attack.
Dr. Sunil Khemka, director of Srinarayana Hospital, told that Jogi suddenly had a cardiac arrest at night. After this, all doctors including heart surgeons reached ICU. Efforts are being made to stabilize his heart and pulse rate.
Was admitted only after cardiac arrest
Jogi was walking in the lawn of his house on the morning of May 9, eating tamarind. Meanwhile, tamarind seeds got stuck in his throat. Due to which his BP started falling and he suffered a cardiac arrest. During this time, his wife Dr. Renu Jogi handled him by giving first aid and admitted him to the hospital. Here the doctors removed the seeds from the throat, but after this Jogi went into a coma.
