DDCA Election: Attempt to make Jaitley's son president, he may face competition

DDCA has seen many big controversies in the last one year. The post of DDCA president has been vacant since Rajat Sharma resigned last year.

There have been many controversies in the last one year regarding the post of President of Delhi and District Cricket Association. The DDCA has not received a new president since Rajat Sharma's resignation in November. However, the Delhi High Court has ordered to hold elections for the post of Chairman, Treasurer and four directors vacant in DDCA. It is being speculated that Rohan, son of former Finance Minister and former DDCA President Arun Jaitley, may join the race for the post. Apart from Rohan, former BCCI Executive Chairman C.K. Khanna's wife can also contest for the post of president.

Some members have urged former DDCA president Rohan Jaitley to participate in these elections. However, in view of the disputed condition of the DDCA, some members have advised Rohan Jaitley to step foot and start with the post of Director instead of the first Chairman.

The DDCA official said that “given the current situation and the way a certain class did with Rajat, it would be good for Rohan to start from the post of director so that he can understand the methodology.” ''

There may be a collision between them

The official said, “Rohan is an outsider. He can be used by those who surrounded Rajat. He is a good man. He should wait and understand everything and be a director or something. “We should start and win the trust of the members. We like them, but we want to be careful about the people who have surrounded DDCA and are motivating Rohan to contest the elections.”

On the other hand, there is also speculation that former BCCI acting president C.K. Khanna's wife can also contest for the post of president. There are reports that Vinod Tihara and Khanna have become one and both have decided to jump into the electoral arena together.
