Another success for BCCI for IPL 14, got assurance from UAE

The Board of Control for Cricket in India seems to be getting great success regarding the second part of IPL season 14. The BCCI has already announced that the second part of IPL 14 will be organized in the UAE. The UAE government has now asked the BCCI to extend its full cooperation to conduct the second part of IPL 14 in September-October.

This information is coming out by quoting Gulf News. The UAE Cricket Board and the UAE Government have said that they will provide all support to the BCCI to complete the 14th season of the IPL.

In view of the past experience, the BCCI announced to shift the 14th season of the IPL from India to the UAE on 29 May. The BCCI has made it clear that the remaining matches of the 14th season will be played in September-October, but till now the start date of the tournament has not been announced by the BCCI.

Very successful tournament last year

This is not the first time that IPL is shifting to another country instead of India. Earlier in 2014, the first leg of the tournament was played in UAE. IPL 13 was held in the UAE with a delay of 6 months amid the Corona virus epidemic and the tournament was completed without any interruption.

Let us tell you that the 14th season of IPL started from April 9. The initial phase of the tournament was successful and no case of corona virus was reported in the matches played in Mumbai-Chennai. But when matches started being played in Ahmedabad and Delhi, many players were found to be Corona positive simultaneously.

The BCCI decided to postpone the IPL soon after. 29 matches have been organized in the first part of the 14th season. Now the remaining 31 matches will be played in three grounds of UAE.

World Cup winning coach Trevor Bayliss left England’s side, will lead this team in Australia
