Video conferencing has seen a huge increase during lockdown. Everything from work from home to online classes is being done through video conferencing. In view of the increasing demand, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued an advisory. TRAI has appealed people to exercise caution while connecting to the audio conference platform. Let us know that recently some people had complained about video calling and online audio calling, in which they said that they had to pay huge amount after calling. After the complaint, TRAI has said in its advisory that before joining any online video or audio call, get information about its terms and fees.

Check out the Terms and Conditions before joining audio conferencing
TRAI has said that before joining online conferencing with consumer audio calls, check the call rate on those numbers and helplines. The authority has said in the advisory, “It has come to the notice of TRAI that some consumers had to face huge bills when they joined an online conferencing platform through audio calls and in no uncertain international phone number or premium from them Number dialed. '

Call termination charge is 35-65 paise per minute
Explain that last month itself, TRAI gave an exemption to increase the international call to destination delivery (call termination charge) in a radius on Friday. Earlier it was 30 paise per minute which has now been reduced to 35-65 paise per minute. Telecom companies are expected to benefit from this.
