Skoda Karok: Jeep will challenge the compass
The new carok is eagerly awaited after the Yeti crossover. While the Yethi was only available in the diesel and manual versions, the new Karok will be available in the single petrol-automatic version. It will be a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine with 150hp / 250Nm power, with a 7-speed DSG automatic-gearbox. Skoda has made many changes in Karok. Its single version will get many features including a sunroof, virtual cockpit digital instrument cluster, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, 9 airbags. In India, it will be sold as a fully built-unit. Its price can be around 24 lakh rupees.
2020 Skoda Superb: This will be the petrol model
The new Superb will see many changes, especially its redesigned front bumper. It has new LED headlamps, revised front grille and much chrome work in the rear. The Superb facelift includes two trims – Lauryn & Clement (L&K) and Sportline. It will get many new features such as LED Lightning front and rear, Skoda Virtual Cockpit Digital Instrument Cluster, updated infotainment system and wireless smartphone charging. It will replace the old 1.8 liter petrol and 2.0 liter diesel engine with a single 190 horsepower generating 2.0 liter turbo-petrol engine, equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Its ex-showroom price will be between 28 lakh to 32 lakh rupees.
Skoda Rapid – Upgraded with Turbo-Petrol Power
Rapid has been present in the Indian market for quite some time. Now many mechanical changes will be seen in it. The old 1.6 liter naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5 liter diesel engine has been replaced. The new Rapid will get a 110 liter TSI turbo-petrol engine generating 110hp / 175Nm, which was given in Volkswagen BS6 Polo and Vento. Its manual version will be available at the start of booking but after some time its 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox variant will also be launched. However, there will be no significant change in the interior and exterior of the car. Its ex-showroom price can be between 8.7 lakh to 11.7.
